SUSIE TWADELL, M.A.
4/5 TEACHER

Susie has over twenty years of experience teaching children ranging in age from pre-kindergarten through college. The breadth of her practice has led her now to her ideal position: an interdisciplinary, project-based 4th and 5th grade classroom with inspired teammates who love teaching as much as she does! Susie has a particular interest in establishing and maintaining positive learning environments where trust is the baseline for learning and growth. After earning a BA in Spanish from Denison University, Susie pursued graduate work in education at St. Michael’s College in Vermont. She now has a Master’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, and she especially loves sharing her passion for writing with her students. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys renovating her family’s barn in Vermont, hiking, writing, and spending time with her husband Peter and their two grown children.
