Development Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Development Coordinator will collaborate with senior administrators to develop and execute key initiatives, projects, events, and other efforts to enhance community engagement, promote partnerships, and cultivate stewardship programs supporting the school. This is a part-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

●  Establish development initiatives that grow annual giving and leadership giving.

●  Build opportunities to enhance and sustain a culture of philanthropy at the school.

●  Foster positive relationships and engagement with families.

●  Assist in the organization and oversight of school events.

●  Create and strengthen partnerships with community organizations and local groups.

●  Identify, write, and manage grant proposals.

●  Support data collection and tracking.

●  Promote Birches’ mission, advancing awareness and support of progressive, nature-based education.

Qualifications:

●  Demonstrated ability to form meaningful and respectful relationships with community members.

●  Strong creative, strategic, and organizational skills.

●  Capable of working collaboratively with a small team or independently, taking initiative, and executing tasks with minimal supervision.
